The mission of Tender are is to provide the best care possible for individuals suffering with Alzheimer's or related dementia. Placing your spouse, parent or other loved one with Alzheimer's Disease or dementia under someone else's care is a difficult decision. Realizing this, The Lodge of Colonial has developed the Tender Care program based on what families of Alzheimer's patients want in a facility. Tender Care, a residential Alzheimer's care unit, is designed to enable residents to enjoy a warm, home-like setting which is also safe and secure. The staff is specifically trained to care for the special needs of an Alzheimer's resident. Stimulating activity programs, designed especially for those with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia, are provided around-the-clock. Families are encouraged to continue their involvement in their loved one's care. And, all of this is provided at a reasonable cost.
